Privacy Policy
This site is a personal blog. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not collect names, email addresses, or any other personal information that you do not choose to send me directly.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is used to serve the site and protect it from abuse. I do not use it to identify individual readers.
Cookies and advertising
This site may display advertising served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
If you write to me, I keep the message so I can reply to it. I do not add your address to any mailing list, and I do not share it.
Students
Where a post draws on work done in my classroom, student writing and data are anonymized before they appear here. No student names, photographs, or identifying details are published on this site.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Questions go to hello@nibpad.com.
